The courtyard is perfect for small-group yoga or tai chi! This is also where our InBody machine is housed. InBody results help residents and employees use advanced body composition analysis to improve their health and overall wellness!
Wave Bed – this bed is located in one of the massage rooms in Splendido’s Salute Spa. Residents can choose their desired wellness goal, such as improving sleep quality. The bed uses computer-controlled vibrational therapy and audio frequencies to train the brain to relax, let go of “mental chatter,” and negative thoughts. Like meditation, sounds heard through headphones slow mental activity, while the bed’s vibrational frequencies target the body’s energy centers. The bed has settings for treating PTSD, stress, depression, poor sleep, headaches and difficulty focusing.
In the Splendido Fitness Center, High Tech Wellness Tools include Keiser compressed-air weight-training equipment and Therabody devices more often found in specialized fitness centers!
Splendido Intellectual Pursuits Program, SIPP, is a resident-led curriculum of classes led by resident experts and top-notch guest speakers. Topics include astronomy to history to economics and beyond in multi-session courses and one-time lectures.
Culinary Delights include distinct restaurants, classically trained chefs, and ever-changing menus featuring fresh, local ingredients!
